Don’t Miss Your Chance to Try 1 1/4″ HD Polyester Strapping

Most of us stopped worrying about switching to poly when the auto’s didn’t force it on us. But if you were one of the procrastinators who put off switching to polyester, you’re coming up on an important decision.

There’s also another thing you may need to consider, will we be ready when our customers force us into polyester strapping?

The Basics of Strap Conversions

A steel strap to poly strap line change lets you get into compliance now.  If you change your Signode PN2-114 over to a Fromm P330 you will be rewarded quickly.  Unlike steel strapping, poly strapping does not require seals or clips.  Friction weld tools rub the strapping together to make a seal free weld!

But that isn’t the only reason to switch strapping.  On top of being faster, with no clips…  Poly strapping is much safer, easier to use, and more cost effective!  Vendors like Allstrap in Columbus, OH are helping companies explore plastic strapping.  Make sure to get a site evaluation, and demo multiple strapping brands.

The strongest poly strapping is 1 1/4″ x .050″ and has rail road approval AAR82.  It is now used in the metals industry, OD/ID bands, blanks, rebar, extruded wire, and building materials.  It is seriously strong strapping!

We try to counterbalance the battery, and the poly tools are easy to use.
